Eavesdrop in Mc.D

Ok... I kinda suck in blogging... My mind got alot of things but dunno how to put them in word... and my frenz said u blog like u want to submit assignment deadline... I hv to admit it... bcoz the previous trip assignment... kinda like assignment one... hehe...

Well... I blog it today bcoz... I saw a quite touching scene today... I kind of easily moved but here is the thing.... I do found this is quite touching to me...

Imagine u go to a stranger country for work... the work is 18hours and probably above yet, the salary is lower than u should be paid...you probably have to learn how to read people face first because when things go wrong, u are the one who to be blame. As a foreigner... you had seen as lowest level in the society... everyone look down on u and may think negatively to ur work and ur personal life. No one understand why you want to stay here to work... they just think u might be illegal and a threat to them... they think you are the one who should be blame when crime happened... they accuse u something that u might not be do... Worst... u might be assaulted by employer physically and psychologically...

Ya... I was talking about foreign maid, or mostly in Malaysia is from Indonesia i believe... Anyway... the imagination above is just a bad example and what we always read in news... it seem like really normal phenomena which maid had been abused, sexually assaulted, or you name it...

However, today... I saw a kinda "warm" scene... I saw a old couple brought their maid go to McD. for lunch... and they just sat beside me... before that... I tot the maid must only sit there and watch the old couple eat... surprisingly(or not)... the uncle actually bought a meal set to her and with ice cream to her... ok... what had moved me is... we heard a lot of bad things that how the employers treat maids and also some news about what had maid done to employers... but when i saw they sit together like family... i feel like ... ya that is the one i like to see... ppl treat ppl equally and well regardless any status u are... I saw the maid was so happy and eat the ice cream like how a kid got his ice cream... then the uncle ask her to eat the burger 1st... and she listen to him... then i saw the auntie ask her enuff or not... then give the maid her french fried... (yes... i was alone there so i got nothing to do but eavesdrop other conversation) They seem like a family rather than employer and maid... of coz i can see still a boundary there la... like the maid need to carry things...

SO... i was thinking... if the abuse things go so common d... then why the newspaper still like to publish those common things... that why I like to read the good news rather bad news... every Sunday... there are a small portion from the news is talking about good things... ya... i prefer to listen to them... that make my day enlightened and happier rather to read how ppl treat ppl badly... hmm... maybe i try to go away from"REALITY"

LAST... good to that maid for being in such good working environment... I believe a good working environment will make up the salary stuff geh... like a frenz of mine... lolz....

でも　きょう　は　よく　なるね。あたま　が　いたい　が　きょうのべんきょう　は　いいよ。こんしゅう　は　いいしゅう？わるいしゅう？　まだ　わからないね。　しゅくだい　は　たくさん　ある。　すぐ　らいしゅう　の　たんじょうび　は　しけん　が　ある。。。　セレブレーション　が　ない？　もし　セレブレーション　が　あったら、どこへいく？　きたいして　いるよ。

M2 trip 2

Well.. I don't know what I had wrote in previous post... but it's ok... blog is always like this... write what come to your mind... isn't it?

Well... about the trip... I have to say... at first... I totally don't know we would be going to Muar/Johor to look for JS friends... not that I mind about this... It is just rather a shock more than surprise... anyway... that doesn't matter already... at least... I go to Muar again after my auntie marriage which held in Muar also.

If I can recall correctly... we were quite excited when we were heading to Muar. We kinda hungry and I quite expect what JS keep recommend... Otak-otak... hmm...

On the way we go to Muar... we took quite a lot of photo... but there are a lot of meaningless and blur picture coz we have only use phone camera because we didn't bring it... here are some of the picture...

We actually went to this temple while we are waiting JS friends...

Anyway, we didn't take much picture there... and we was like spent most of time at Muar and JS friends were nice people and tried to bring us to everywhere that most tourist would go... although I have to say it's not appropriate for this such hot weather. But I indeed thanks to them for introduce us all the places and also the food... and they spent their time to a bunch of ungrateful strangers. I think we owe them a big thanks!

After we separated with JS friends, we went back to Malacca. We went to the river where near the red house, which I can't recall the name, and we pretended we were the tourist from China and listen how the guide introduce the places to us... and I have to say... they are good in that... We just walk around there and enjoy looking at the people around there... ya... we kinda like observer. I knew that I was there while I am 4th grade, there changed a lot and start getting commercial.

After that, we walked to place where supposingly a lot of foods there, however another finding in Malacca... they won't give up any chance for rest and they close their shop very early - like 9pm... Should I say... the night just begin... So, we have a lot of hard time about looking for food... we took about 1-2hours for walk and we get nothing to eat... actually we did... but they are bad or worse... So, how we settle the dinner... we went to Dataran Pahlawan... for A&W... shame to admit that we having fast food in other states...

M2 Trip 1

As JS ask... I changed the name of this post to M2... due to some reason...

Well... I have to say... This Chinese New Year wasn't the bad one and I kind of enjoy the celebration... Well, I have to say I NEVER not enjoy CNY... Every year the days I always expect is CNY, coz this celebration always give me a sense of happiness and enjoyment!! The period that me and family welcome "God of Prosperity"... The moment we everyone get the free permission to stay so late and the street still lively!! The union dinner with family, with friends and bla bla bla... Sometime, just can't get why people not like CNY or tend not to celebrate it besides take CNY as just another public holiday...

For this year, my friend and I actually do not have any plan to go any where... because our boss are busy with his "business"... He start work at Day 3 and Day 4 and then free for another 2 days... That why we think, there are no point for us to go anywhere without him... we are that united... haha...

However, we still maintain our culture... which is not have any plan to go somewhere... rather we just go where as we like and when we are available... So, we actually decided to go Malacca less than one days before the trip... and one of things that I think we so "geng" is we still able to find hotel...

This trip was 2D1N trip... it is not enough for me actually... haizz... however the trip was still full of fun.

Movie Review

Ok... I should actually write my 500-1000 words movie review rather than spend time to write blog... yet, here I am...

Well... Thanks to Dr. Goh... I watched some movies that I would never want to watch until Dr. Goh show it to us... Cinema Paradiso, The Killing Field... and also because influence of Dr. Goh... I watched another awarded movie name Adam too... All of these movies are inspiriting to me and I would say influence me so much...

Cinema Paradiso is the 1st Italian movie I had ever watched... This movie is kinda long... about 3 hours and with original audio (i believe) Italian... I thought this is simply a romantic movie until the end of the movie... the climax of movie is almost in the end of the movie... I would say this movie is worth to watch (with non extended version coz it's kinda long for me)... The movie have some screens that make me laugh and also would let me cry(if I watch at home alone... sure I will)... Yet, I can't simply enjoy the movie... bcoz at the same time, I need to think about how should I do my assignment... and I found myself hard to differential watching movie for enjoyment at the same time I need to work my assignment regarding the movie... Coz when I watch the movie... I didn't jot down anything I should write down...

The second movie - The Killing Field still linger in my mind... especially the union screen and many violence screens... It's is a great movie and awaking Anti-war movie... This movie able to move me and I do enjoy watch a movie that I never want to watch... (I don't like War movie...) In addition, this is a true story... not the fiction that people make up to entertain people but a reflection of people life... I was thinking that if I was here... I don't think I would strong enough to survive... and I really think that any decision is important... each decisions would affect you differently... or maybe even take your life... Like the movie... at the life and death moment, one person life actually depend on a tiny passport size photo... You need to be smart to pretend you are stupid and pretend you are not educated...

The Killing Field movie is worth to watch too and I totally agree with this movie won the Academy Award... The experience of the main character (or supporting character according to the award) - Dith Pran is really cinematic and extraordinary... and he is actually one of the survivors (I believe some of the people do survive at last) of Vietnam genocide... Few years ago, I used to hear about the war and there is a museum that collected skull of the victim of war and The Killing Field now is one of the travel spot for tourism...

After I watched the movie... I google the war... and I found out that the communist would kill anyone if they like to... some simply get executed, some been executed bcoz cried when their relative was executed... educated one, or simply wore a glassess... How could human being do such thing... Kill human being like destroy grass...

OK... That all I would say... and Thanks to PSY317... I should not have "Bias" toward old movie or "boring movie" that I thought i was...
